This fic has quickly topped the ranks of my most loved ones of all. Why? Well she is quickly becoming my favorite author, not only due to her writing stories very quickly/in time with season but because her characterization of the brothers is phenomenally done. It reads like Sam and Dean, her H/C is the best ever and I am always constantly amazed with her stories. So inventive and new.

This is an add on to the finale of Season 7 merging into Season 8. It has taken it's own liberties since it was written before Season 8 air but it's still my favorite season 8 fic to date. Sam is so heartbreakingly crushed at the loss of Dean and will do anything to get his brother back.

I love her portrayal of purgatory, as well as the surprises of what's inside purgatory. I think overall, it' a much better representation than actual canon and this is something I would have LOVED to see actually done.
