I've been feeling rather disconnected too. Even during Season 6 and 7 I was still following along like to storyline made sense to me and even if some episodes were meh overall Sam's character and the storyline I enjoyed. This? I'm not to sure tbh. I feel like everything is really jumbled and just not making any kind of sense.
